Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Navigate Croatia platform. If you use the platform as a visitor, boat owner, or administrator, you agree to be bound by these terms to the extent they apply to the way you use the service.
1. Platform operator
Navigate Croatia is operated by BeeDigital d.o.o., Miroslava Krleže 22, 34000 Požega, Croatia, OIB/VAT ID: HR69213629245. General questions may be sent to info@beedigital.hr.
2. Nature of the service
Navigate Croatia is a moderated online lead-generation and listing platform for charter boats. The platform helps owners publish public listings and allows guests to browse the catalog, reveal owner contact details, and send a structured public inquiry for a specific boat. At this stage, the platform is not a booking engine, does not process charter payments, does not hold escrow or deposits, and is not a party to any charter agreement between the guest and the owner.
3. Accounts and access
An account is required for owner and admin functionality. Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, for keeping their credentials secure, and for all actions taken through their account. You must not use another person’s account, attempt unauthorized access, or undermine the security of the platform.
4. Owner and listing rules
An owner who publishes a boat represents and warrants that they have the right to list the vessel and to use all content they publish, including photos, text, and contact details. The owner is responsible for the accuracy of descriptions, pricing, location, equipment, availability, and contact details, for the lawfulness of the charter offer, and for ensuring that published content does not infringe third-party rights. Owners must review and approve any AI-generated, translated, or SEO-assisted text before publication.
5. Approval, moderation, and visibility
All listings may be moderated before public publication. Navigate Croatia may reject, hide, temporarily remove, or permanently remove a listing or account if we suspect inaccurate or outdated information, unlawful content, third-party rights violations, spam, suspicious activity, a security risk, or conduct that undermines trust in the platform. Admin approval is an editorial and operational review only; it is not a warranty that a boat is seaworthy, safe, legally charterable, or that the owner’s service quality has been certified.
6. Catalog ranking and GPS badges
Only listings that are approved and set to visible appear in the public catalog. The main parameters affecting public visibility and recommended ordering may include approval status, visibility status, relevance to active filters, and basic display signals such as listing freshness. In the current implementation, recommended sorting first favors GPS-badged listings, then vessels from registered companies and sole trades recognized from owner data, and only after that more complete listings. At this time, we do not offer paid sponsored placement in the public catalog. A GPS or BeeGuard badge does not guarantee continuous connectivity, theft prevention, or the general safety of a vessel.
7. Contact reveal and direct communication
When a visitor clicks “Show contact details”, the platform may display the phone number, WhatsApp number, and/or email address that the owner has entered for that listing. A visitor may also submit a structured public inquiry for a specific boat through the inquiry form on the listing detail page. These steps are not a booking, not a confirmation of availability, and not the conclusion of any contract. The platform may apply rate limiting, session-based deduplication, and other anti-abuse measures. Visitors must not use revealed contact details or inquiry forms for spam, scraping, bulk harvesting, or any other unlawful purpose.
8. Prohibited conduct
The following is prohibited: publishing false or unauthorized listings, introducing malicious code, attempting to bypass security, using platform data for harassment or mass marketing, infringing intellectual property rights, or using the platform in a way that violates law or these terms.
9. Intellectual property
The software, design, databases, trademarks, and platform content of Navigate Croatia belong to the operator or its licensors. The owner retains rights in their listing content, but grants the platform a non-exclusive license to host, display, index, reformat, and promote that content to the extent necessary to operate and market the service.
10. Liability and limitations
Navigate Croatia operates as an intermediary platform and is not a party to the agreement between the guest and the owner. We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, that a boat is available, that a guest and owner will reach agreement, or that a charter will proceed without issues. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for user conduct, owner listing content, owner service quality, vessel condition, third-party provider failures, or damage arising from the direct relationship between the guest and the owner. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Suspension and account closure
We may temporarily suspend or permanently close an account, restrict functionality, or remove a listing where we reasonably consider this necessary for security, compliance, abuse investigation, protection of other users, or because of a breach of these terms. Where reasonably possible, we will try to provide a short explanation of the reason to the owner.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply under the law of the consumer’s habitual residence. Courts in Croatia will have jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in platform features, business operations, or regulatory requirements. The latest update date will be published at the top of the document. Continued use of the platform after the updated version takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
